Delete your Vahan account
You can also do this inside the app: Account › Settings › Delete account. This page exists so you can ask even if you no longer have the app installed.
What is erased
- Your name, phone number and email address
- Your profile photo, date of birth and gender
- Saved addresses and emergency contacts
- Every device signed in to your account
- Driver documents (licence, ID, insurance) and their files
- Bank or UPI details held for payouts
What is kept, and why
- The accounting record of completed trips — ledger entries and issued tax invoices are legally retained records that we file with the tax authority. They stay, with your identity removed from them: after deletion nothing in our systems can say who they belonged to.
- An audit entry proving your deletion request was received and honoured. It holds no contact details.
If money is owed in either direction — a wallet balance, an unsettled payout, unremitted cash commission — we will tell you instead of deleting, so nothing of yours is stranded.
